The Advanced Sports Performance Program at Impact Sports Performance is designed for athletes who are serious about development. This is not general fitness or random workouts — it’s a structured, science-driven system built to improve speed, strength, power, and durability for long-term success in sport.
Athletes training at Impact come from a wide range of sports and competitive levels, including middle school and high school athletes preparing for varsity play and beyond. Whether you’re training in Novi, Brighton, or East Lansing, every athlete begins with the same standard: a comprehensive evaluation and an individualized development plan.

Youth athlete development requires more than intensity — it requires intelligent progression. Our Advanced Sports Performance Program focuses on teaching athletes how to move efficiently, produce force safely, and develop the physical qualities that translate directly to performance on the field or court.
This program is ideal for athletes who:
Want to improve speed, strength, and overall athleticism
Are entering or currently in high school strength and conditioning programs
Need structured training beyond team practices
Want to reduce injury risk while increasing performance output
Our coaching staff works with athletes across multiple sports, helping them build the foundation needed to train harder, compete longer, and perform with confidence.

Impact Sports Performance operates as a true sports performance academy, not a cookie-cutter gym. Every athlete is coached, not supervised. Every program is planned, not improvised.
Here’s what separates our Advanced Sports Performance Program:
Comprehensive Evaluations
Every athlete starts with a detailed assessment of movement quality, strength, speed, and coordination.
Individualized Programming
Training plans are customized based on the athlete’s sport, age, training history, and goals.
Small Group or 1-on-1 Training
Athletes receive constant coaching, feedback, and correction to maximize results.
Science-Backed Methods
Our training systems are built on biomechanics, physiology, and proven performance principles — not trends.
Athletes training at our Novi location may look different than those in East Lansing, but the standards, coaching quality, and training systems remain the same.

Inside the Advanced Sports Performance Program
A typical training week may include:
Acceleration and speed development
Strength training focused on proper mechanics
Plyometrics and power development
Agility and change-of-direction work
Corrective exercises to address movement limitations
Our goal is to improve how efficiently athletes move and how much force they can safely produce. This combination is what helps athletes run faster, jump higher, and stay healthier throughout their season and career.
Whether an athlete is preparing for varsity competition in Brighton or training year-round in Novi, the program adapts to the individual — not the other way around.
Coached by Experts. Built on Experience.
Our coaching staff is made up of highly qualified professionals with degrees in exercise science and kinesiology, national certifications, and years of experience developing athletes at every level.
Many of our coaches have worked in collegiate strength and conditioning settings and continue to contribute to the industry through education, consulting, and professional presentations. This depth of experience allows us to deliver consistent results across all Impact Sports Performance locations.
